Why read this Bible?
An interesting choice if you like to pay attention to word repetition, sound and the form of the Bible text.
Does this edition suit you?
First read some passages in the preview copy. The special Dutch formulations sometimes require more concentration than a translation into ordinary language. This standard edition is not the edition with deuterocanonical books. For example, place the NBV21 next to it for comparison; that helps to discuss differences without treating one word as decisive.
