J.H. Mulder-van Haeringen is the author of The Bible for You and The Bible for You. These children's Bibles retell stories from the Old and New Testament for children. According to the publisher, the first book is aimed at young children from about four years old; the sequel is intended for children from about nine years old. The series therefore grows with the reader, without the two parts having to be read as one continuous story. When choosing, the storytelling pace and the reading experience of the child are more important than just the age on paper.
