Hanneke van Oostrum

Hanneke van Oostrum is named by Jongbloed Media as an illustrator of The Bible for you. In this children's Bible her images are placed next to the retellings of J.H. Mulder-van Haeringen. Her contribution concerns the images, not the writing of the Bible stories. For young children, watching together can be a starting point for talking about a story. Therefore, consider not only the amount of text in this edition, but also whether the illustrations hold your child's attention.

This is how you read this edition

First look at the image together and then read the story. Ask what the child recognizes in the image, without turning viewing into a test.
