Corien Oranje writes children's books and is a theologian. Within this selection, her work shows three different ways to share Bible texts with children. She wrote short texts and songs for Babybijbel. In Psalmen voor kinderen she edited forty psalms based on the Bible in Ordinary Language. She is also one of the writers of Het grote Bijbelverhalenboek. These contributions each have their own text form: a first introduction for babies, an adaptation of poetry and retellings for children. An adaptation of Orange is therefore not the same as a complete Bible translation.
